Our Local 7019 Scholarships forms can be found on our Documents page. This is a reminder that the deadline for submitting the form is 3/20/2023.
Nellie Stone Johnson Scholarship: This scholarship provides financial assistance to racial/ethnic minority union members and their families who wish to pursue postsecondary education at one of Minnesota’ state universities or at one of the two year community and technical colleges that are part of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU). Those attending the U of M or a private school are not eligible. The application deadline is: June 1, 2023.
Minnesota AFL-CIO Scholarship: The MN AFL-CIO has a few scholarships for high school seniors graduating in 2023. The application deadline is May 1, 2023. This website also lists other scholarships and grants that you may qualify for, including a scholarship for adult learners and a grant for those looking to develop their abilities and skills as union leaders.
